Terms of Service

By accessing and using the Canada Learning Grant platform ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Canada Learning Grant is a private educational support platform that provides:

• Information about education funding opportunities in Canada
• Eligibility assessment tools and matching services
• Application assistance and document management
• Educational resources and guidance
• Connection services between students and educational institutions

Important: We are not a government agency, financial institution, or educational institution. We do not guarantee funding approval, admission to schools, or any specific outcomes.

To use certain features of our Platform, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 16 years of age (or have parental consent)
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest information about other users

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and code, is the property of Canada Learning Grant or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant us this license. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party.

We may receive commissions or fees from educational institutions when students are successfully admitted and receive funding through our Platform. This does not affect the information we provide or our recommendations.

Currently, our Platform is free for students to use. We may introduce paid features or services in the future, and we will notify you of any changes to our fee structure.

We earn commissions from educational institutions when students are successfully admitted and receive funding. This does not affect the cost to students or the services we provide.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canada Learning Grant, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your User Content

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act (Ontario), or through the courts of Ontario, at our discretion.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Canada Learning Grant regarding the use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
